Student Veterans of America NatCon
VCU veteran students attending a Student Veterans of America NatCon meeting in Florida. This conference had thousands of other veteran students awarded for their success in higher education.

Give a Can Get a Plate
In recognition of Veterans Day, a ceremony was dedicated to fellow veterans. Students, faculty, and staff attended this event and donated canned foods.

Ground Down Rise Up 
Ground Down Rise Up is an event where helpful services provide tips and mental help mechanisms for veterans transitioning life after the military.

9/11 Commemoration
Commemoration ceremony held for the lives lost on September 11th, 2001. Hosted by VCU Military Student Services and VCU Student Veterans Association. 

'More than War' Stories & Travis Manion Legacy Project
An event where veteran students gather together to share impactful military experiences in order to grow and develop. The Travis Manion Legacy project is a local community service project dedicated to helping Richmond veterans in need. 

Warrior Workouts
Interval workout at the Cary Street Gym dedicated to the fallen troops and active military members.

Morale Events:
- Pizza Day: Gather for pizza and socializing the last Thursday of each month during the fall and spring semesters. Event healed at noon in the MSS Office (3122 Harris Hall)
- Morale Dinner: Morale dinners typically are held monthly in  Fall and Spring  but are scheduled to be most convenient for students. This event is designed for military affiliated students to relax and enjoy a meal together off campus and is usually held at a veteran owned business.
- Graduation: held at the end of every semester.
